BS in Aeronautical and Mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). MBA in Strategic Management and International Business from University of British Columbia (UBC). 23 years of experience at Hills, Inc. working in both Engineering and Sales with particular expertise in meltspinning multicomponent filament and spunbond equipment. Tim’s responsibilities include Hills’ global machinery sales, Customer Service, and process and product development.

Multicomponent technology enables developments in markets ranging from pharmaceuticals to filtration and provides benefits from reducing cost to increasing value. New developments are unlocked by combining multicomponent construction with polymer advancements, sustainability requirements, and consumer demands. Some examples include the growing demand for nanofibers, increased need for recycle content, and energy savings through reducing processing temperatures or self-crimping filaments.
