Allison Hanney has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee. She has been employed by Hills Inc. since 2003 and has been in various marketing/sales roles. Her current role at Hills is Secretary/Treasurer.

Multicomponent technology enables developments in markets ranging from pharmaceuticals to filtration and provides benefits from reducing cost to increasing value. New developments are unlocked by combining multicomponent construction with polymer advancements, sustainability requirements, and consumer demands. Some examples include the growing demand for nanofibers, increased need for recycle content, and energy savings through reducing processing temperatures or self-crimping filaments. By collaborating with the diverse needs of research institutes, polymer suppliers, and roll goods manufacturers, the technology continues to provide new solutions to old challenges.
